Wine Australia has launched a trade competition for wineries, cellar doors, restaurants, bars and retailers who register events or promotions as part of May’s Aussie Wine Month.
Sommeliers can win a $4,000 travel bursary to visit Australian wine regions of their choosing, working with Wine Australia to create a personalised itinerary.
On- and off-premise retailers can win a place on Wine Australia's Trade Immersion Program, a week-long hosted trip to a number of Australian wine regions and experience the wines, people and places that make them unique.
Wineries and cellar doors can put up to $4,000 towards a weekend away for two people to the wine region of their choice; digital marketing to help build their brand/promote their wines; or any Wine Australia user-pays activities in the Market Programs.
Participation in Aussie Wine Month is free and events will be promoted via the Aussie Wine Month website.
