The World’s 50 Best Bars has released an extended list of bars from 51-100 with the top 50 announced during a London awards ceremony on 3 October.
The 2019 list features bars from 20 countries and 26 cities, with 14 new entries, with the US topping the list with nine venues followed by the UK which has six.
11 bars across Asia feature in the extended rankings, with three venues located in Hong Kong and Japan along with two in Singapore and Thailand and one in South Korea.
Australia is represented by four bars, with three based in Sydney. Bulletin Place ranked in at no.66 followed by The Baxter Inn at no.79, Melbourne’s Black Pearl at no.80 and PS40 at no.95.
“This year’s 51-100 list includes a number of returning favourites, but it is also great to see a wide range of new entries from across the globe,” says William Drew, Group Editor of The World’s 50 Best Bars. “It really showcases the diversity and ever evolving quality of the world’s leading bars.”
