The 2015 Sydney smooth Festival of Chocolate will see some of the Nation’s best loved patissiers and chocolatiers come together to create a decadent two day affair dedicated to sweet tooths.
One of the festival’s highlights will be the Callebaut Test Kitchen which will feature demonstrations from the industry’s most celebrated culinary identities including the Festival’s ambassadors, Adriano Zumbo and the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney’s executive pastry chef Anna Polyviou.
Other chefs on the bill include executive chef of the InterContinental Double Bay Julien Pouteau, Intercontinental Sydney’s executive chef Tamas Pamer, La Renaissance Patisserie pastry chef, 2012 Masterchef Australia runner up Julia Taylor, Black Star Pastry’s Christopher The, Ananas Bar and Brasserie’s executive pastry chef Riccardo Girardi and award winning Chocolatier Jodie Van De Velden
Premium chocolate suppliers and other decadent brands will be showcased at the event.
“The smooth Festival of Chocolate was such a great brand experience for all involved that we are confident this year’s events will see record crowds,” says Tony Thomas, Nova Entertainment’s chief marketing and digital officer.
The Sydney event will take place in The Rocks over Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, and due to the success of the inaugural festival in 2014, 2015 will also see the event extended to Melbourne where it will take over the Crown Riverwalk in Southbank on October 24 and 25.
