One of Australia’s most well-known patisseriers, Adriano Zumbo has announced that he will be opening his first shop on Sydney’s north shore.
Located inside the newly refurbished Chatswood Interchange, the store will feature an Asian-style design theme and is due to open in March.
Speaking with Good Food, Zumbo says that there may be some other changes to the Sydney Zumbo empire aside from the opening of the Chatswood store, including the closure of his Waverley site.
“We’re looking at closing the Waverley store and moving to another location in the east,” he says. "It’ll happen, I just don’t know when.”
Just last week, Zumbo also announced he will be opening a weekend dessert bar at the front of his Fancy Nance high tea salon in Melbourne.
The dessert bar will be located in Zumbo’s Italian caf, Little Frankie’s, which is positioned at the front of Fancy Nance, transforming the area into a lounge complete with a soft-serve machine and in-house DJ.
